HTML5 for App Developers: Eclipse

Below you will find the second episode of my HTML5 for App Developers series. In this episode, I cover how you can use Eclipse, which is a free and open source IDE, to do your HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS work.
In the video, I point out a small bug that comes with Mac version of Eclipse. To download the patch you can use this link. You can find Eclipse itself here; I encourage you to download the Eclipse IDE for JavaScript Web Developers version.

Piotr,
Thanks for the tutorial. I’ve used eclipse for Java, J2EE, PHP. I’m interested in html5 and JavaScript, so this was perfect.
I’m running on windows Starter 7 with latest eclipse for JavaScript. If I run on the embedded browser (http preview), clicking on the button does nothing. (Expected the Hello World alert message).
If I run on an external browser (Internet Explorer). It works.
If I create a 2nd html file using the html 4.01 strict, and run in the embedded browser, it works.
I conclude that eclipse embedded browser support is not ready for html5. Do you agree? Do you know when that support will be available?
Thanks again for the tutorial. Kent H.

How do you compare the standard Eclipse plug-ins you covered with the Aptana IDE? Which one offers more features and allows one to work more productively?
